Kaitiaki Rodger is an award-winning Māori writer and director based in Tamaki Makaurau. "Maumahara" follows his debut award winning short film "Matua" (2021). Kaitiaki holds a Master in Screen Production from the University of Auckland, and has worked in the film industry as a freelancer in roles such as Camera Operator, Key Grip and Assistant Camera. He currently works as a corporate videographer for Auckland Live and has a deep passion for filmmaking and telling authentic stories.

Kat Glass is a producer and actor who brings socially impactful stories to life. Through their company Glow House, Kat empowers creatives to tell authentic and potent drama for screen and stage. Frequently drawn to narratives with feminist, LGTBQ+, and environmental content. Kat is also the lead producer of internationally touring stage play 'Alone' - a female led sci-fi about climate change. Kat's commercial work includes content for the Human Rights Commision and Soilsafe.
